With over 25 years in the Tax / Accounting industry; I got my start after graduating from Walsh College with a Bachelors In Accounting.
I started my career at a local CPA firm where I learned CPA wasn't my route. I began studying taxes and became an E.A. (Enrolled Agent). After working at a firm for 9 years, I decided to open my own tax business in 2005.
I began Tax Time in my basement, from there I began to grow and moved into a building in St. Clair, Michigan. Years later I was faced with family responsibilities that needed my attention, so I moved my office to my home in 2010 to be there with my daughter who at the time needed multiple surgeries.
In 2018 I became a 20-year member of The National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) which helps tax professionals serve their clients with the highest level of excellence. As a member, I receive unmatched tax education and timely information and updates and are equipped to serve the taxpaying public honestly, expertly and professionally.
I love doing taxes because it's ever-changing and it keeps my interest, but as you know there is more to doing taxes than preparing tax forms from January through April... which is why we are open year-round offering services for Bookkeeping, Payroll, Sales Tax Reports, Tax Planning & Preparation, IRS Representation and Consultation on the changes in your life and financial status that may affect your taxes.
